Michigans Best: Michigan has a lot of great places for food and drink, but which ones are the best? MLive has narrowed it down for you so, when you need a recommendation, its right there on your phone. Weve done all the hard work sampling hundreds of restaurants (someone had to do it) so that, whether youre visiting the Great Lakes State, visiting a new area or just going out for the night in your area, youll be able to find good eats easily. These arent national chains were talking about, mind you. These are mom & pop shops and small chains you may not have heard of. And every place in our app was suggested by Michiganders and MLive.com readers. We put the nominations to a reader vote online, then we hit the road to sample some generous portions. Youll be glad we did, and youll be glad you checked them out. These are Michigans Best, and the list is growing!
